The chart on the left shows a part of a report from one of our AVG Antispam users.
The first column shows outgoing messages through AVG's smarthost outbound gateway.
The second in green, shows incoming non-spam messages.
The third shows messages which have been quarantined as spam.
Column number four, our dark red one shows virus infected emails which were blocked by the AVG Antispam system at source. Never getting near to the customer or any of their systems.
The final column shows messages sent to unknown recipients. These are usually spam.
So, yes, AVG.... death to viruses. At source.
